Since 1865, the St. Vincent de Paul Society has cared for the needy and disadvantaged of the Cleveland, Akron, Lorain, Lake, Geauga, Medina, Ashland and Wayne county areas.  Through home visits, food, clothing and furniture programs, thrift stores and outreach programs, St. Vincent de Paul provides support to individuals in need regardless of race, origin, religion or gender.

Nativity operates a food pantry and provides rent, utilities, and other financial assistance for all those in our parish boundaries.  All referrals are to be made through the parish office and are confidential.  Volunteers are always WELCOME!

Help for Ozanam Center
The John Hilkert Ozanam Center is located at Visitation of Mary Parish in Akron (93 Kent Street).  Volunteers are needed on Saturdays 9:30 AM – 12:00 Noon.  Donations accepted include: household items, clothing, shoes, toys, etc.; no furniture.
