“Allowing God’s healing mercy and grace to work through our hands to give comfort to those in need.”  This ministry involves a great group of women, from Nativity and cluster parishes, who get together to knit and crochet prayer shawls.  These beautiful shawls are then blessed and given to those who are in need.  Each shawl contains a piece of yarn from another shawl – this unites all crafters and recipients in ongoing prayer for each other.  Prayer shawls have been sent to Ireland, Germany, Haiti, Australia, France, and Canada, as well as in the United States.  Anyone can request a prayer shawl for a sick family member or friend by calling the Parish Office at 330-699-5086.
