Eucharistic Exposition/Adoration is a prayer form in which Catholics worship Jesus Christ asHe is personally and continuously present in the Eucharist. This prayer requires that one be in the physical presence of the Eucharist, in a church or chapel, either before the tabernacle or before the monstrance with the exposed Eucharist.
Spiritual Communion is a way that the faithful who are not able to be in the physical presence of the Eucharist can benefit from a spiritual bond with Jesus through the Church's prayer.
