This sacrament is not only for those who are at the point of death. It is also for those who suffer from a terminal disease or undergoing serious surgery. As soon as anyone of the faithful begins to be in danger of death from sickness or old age, a family member should call for the priest.
EVERY Hospital and Nursing Facility has a priest “on-call” list, so just let the Hospital nursing station or Nursing Facility know that you want your loved one anointed and they will get the priest who is “on-call”.
If that doesn’t work, then email Fr. Kawalec or call the parish office (330-699-5086 choose the option for emergency).
FORMED.ORG has a Grief Support Prgram Series called Grieving with Great Hope.
